Carmona Creations LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the UserPick mobile application (the "App"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
Account information — when you create an account, we collect:
- Your email address (used as your login identifier)
- Your display name (visible to other players)
- Your password (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash — we never store your actual password)
- Your profile picture selection (chosen from a set of in-app illustrations — no photos are uploaded)
- Your prizes opt-in preference
Activity data — generated as you use the App:
- Game picks (team selected, confidence level, upset pick flag)
- Underdog picks (team selected, moneyline and bonus points at the time of selection)
- Game Call predictions (margin and tempo estimates for the featured game)
- Favorite team selections
- League membership and picks within leagues you join
2. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not build behavioral profiles. We do not sell your data to any third party.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not access your camera, photo library, microphone, contacts, or location
- We do not collect payment or billing information — the App is free with no in-app purchases
- We do not use push notifications — no device token is ever collected
- We do not collect analytics about how you navigate the App
4. Third-Party Services
UserPick uses two external services, neither of which receives your personal information beyond what is described below:
Resend — handles delivery of the one-time email verification code sent when you create your account. Your email address is transmitted to Resend solely for this purpose. Resend's privacy policy is available at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
College Football Data API (CFBD) — provides live scores, schedules, rankings, and recruiting data displayed in the App. No personal information is sent to CFBD; it receives only anonymous queries for public sports data.
No analytics services, crash reporting tools, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs are used in the App.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your account data is stored on servers operated by Carmona Creations LLC. Passwords are hashed using the scrypt algorithm with a unique per-account salt before storage and are never readable after they are set.
When you sign in, a session token (a random, cryptographically generated value) is stored on your device. This token is used to keep you logged in for up to 30 days. It is the only personal data stored locally on your device. No passwords, email addresses, or other account details are stored on your device.
6. Data Retention
Your account data, picks, stats, badges, and league history are retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all of this data is permanently and immediately erased from our systems. Session tokens expire automatically after 30 days of inactivity.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Access — you can view your account email and display name at any time in the App.
Update — you can change your display name and profile picture in Settings at any time.
Delete your account — you can permanently delete your account directly within the App by going to Settings → Password & Security → Delete Account. You will be asked to enter your password to confirm. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — your account, picks, stats, badges, and league memberships are all permanently removed.
Log out — you can end your session at any time from the More tab.
8. Children's Privacy
UserPick is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at info@carmonacreations.com and we will delete the account promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
